Re: Width of Stripes on New GT. *DELETED* Craig, I measured them at a local dealership and posted the dimensions, but I can't find my post either! No notes that I can find either. I want to say something like 6-3/8" with a 1" center, but that's nothing more than a close guess at this point.

Just goes to show that Max is out to lunch on his ideas. Slow the cars down by limiting tires and moving the wings? He needs to go!

Jerry, I did lots of filling on front brow of the spider, the rear top of one of the doors and the front top of the rear clip. In reality, most of these were fairly close to being level, but I was anal to the point of obsessive. If you need, I can send some pictures of what I filled when in...

Dan, I agree with your comments about the door striker, but they really have nothing to do with it. I located the doors, then located the spider as seen. No cutting or adding to the basic package, some filling to level the top, but the geometry on mine seems correct. I wish someone else would...

Guys, check and be double sure, as it sounds like you are mounting yours differently from mine - which if wrong, will require some serious explaining from Hershal who helped mount mine!

Re: RF52 Simon, as of last week Dan had the engine bored to 25 over and needed to bore/hone the last 5 with a torque plate on. Then line bore the crank. Heads need to be milled, very rough, tear down the heads, etc. Probably a couple of weeks away before being able to start building it up...

Re: RF52 Well, yesterday I got the stripes done on the three main body sections. What a job! It took longer to lay out the stripes than it did to paint, touch-up and clear. Feels like I cleared a huge impasse, and may be actually see the finish.

Thanks guys. I'm not worried about insulating the surface as I don't see that happening with these types of materials. I just wanted to see if there was any experience out there with this type of paint.

HAs anyone every used this titanium paint from Eastwoods on their transmission? http://www.eastwoodco.com/jump.jsp?itemID=990&itemType=CATEGORY&iMainCat=706&iSubCat=990 It has the look I want, just not sure whether 300F is too low of a maximum temp.

Anyone got a close picture of how they handled the weatherstriping that goes along the top of the sill over the fuel tank? Would you be willing to share this picture?

Just saw one of the new ones at a dealership outside of Houston, red with white stripes. Salesman said car is sold to a guy in California but can't move until A-Arm is corrected. Said car was sold for $250,000. This car has been on Ebay at least twice. Sounds like someone is trying to flip...
