    Registration/Title issues

Well, I went to two more places, as you know, no luck. Again they wanted name on MSO, seller, and odometer. So, let’s just say I got creative. I wasn’t going to waste Frans time to send back the MSO. I went to a 4th place that was a hole in the wall, I later found out it is sort of boutique...

    Registration/Title issues

As Fran said, I am in contact with them. No I was never the original owner, this car sat for almost 6 years without being touched. I’ve lived in Florida for 4 years now and the amount of sh!t box cars you see on the road is astounding, that’s why I’m surprised it has been difficult. None the...

    Registration/Title issues

Today I got time to go to the place George recommend. He’s right, no wait at all. However, still no luck. The first clerk was clueless, the second at least knew what a replica was. But They are giving me issues about my name not anywhere on the MSO. They also were dumbfounded when I said it has...

    YAHB (Yet another hopeful builder)

I’m building mine out of a 1 car carport. I expect to have 50 in it when completed. But I also got a huge discount on eBay. A lot of guys are buying brand new crate engines. If you’re a mechanic then I’d buy an L92 straight from the junkyard for 3k. Throw in a cam and supporting mods, you’ll be...

    Registration/Title issues

That’s the thing, Florida should be super easy. No inspections, just VIN verification which I have from a notary. She claimed the MSO needed to be signed, but she had no idea what she was talking about. I’m sure it’s not often you get a car directly from a manufacturer which is what we have...

    Registration/Title issues

Thanks that’s what I’m going to do. I spoke to fran and he informed me that no signing is necessary on the back of the MSO. Part of the issue for me was the car has an MSO of 2014, same with the invoice, I’m sure it looks a bit sketchy that I’m applying for a title 7years later. This old lady...

    Registration/Title issues

So I go to the Florida tag agency armed with my insurance, MSO, Bill of sale, and application for certificate of title. Since there are no inspections in Florida I’m expecting this to be easy. No. They say my receipt is not original, well of course it isn’t, I bought it off eBay. They then claim...

    Converting RHD SLC to LHD

Thanks Joel, that explains my nose droop. So many threads I’ve read before, that I didn’t have context to until I obtained the car. I’m going through many build logs again.

    Converting RHD SLC to LHD

Can anyone comment on if the splitter goes on top or bottom of the aluminum plate on the front? Looking at cams blog it looks like his is on to of the aluminum plate.

    Converting RHD SLC to LHD

Little update. All AC wiring is done, fan motor functions as it should. Center console is nearly finished, just have to locate holes for the AC controls. Body fitment continues to plague me. Can anyone with a proper fit body provide me with these dimensions? These are frame to spider, in mm...

    Converting RHD SLC to LHD

Bit of an update, again electrical is mostly done. The connector from mouser for the gm steering harness worked flawlessly, just need to find my location for the hazard switch and I can finish the hazard lights. All other systems work as they should. I’m not impressed with the brake switch, it...

    Converting RHD SLC to LHD

Well, finally figured all the wiring out. Probably isn’t the way it’s supposed to work with the GM column but it works fine. Just waiting on my GM harness connectors from mouser to come in so I can finish. 99% of the other wiring is done. Final connections at the lights won’t be done until the...

    Fat Larry's GTR Build

Same, I will also be replacing the brake pressure switch eventually to a low pressure one. It seems that I have to pressure the pedal farther than I’d like before the lights come on.

    Converting RHD SLC to LHD

Ok so I think I found my solution, this a flasher relay designed to work with LED. It has one extra ground on it for some purpose, I’m not an electrical engineer by a long shot. This will allow me to do a few things. One is use an amber turn signal for front and rear. The other is to keep my...

    Converting RHD SLC to LHD

It is the coupe 23 kit. I found this diagram, this may work idk. I guess brake and turn are the same wire/lead to the light, but two separate circuits from the coach board. Running lights will then have to somehow come from the GM column wiring.
