RBT transmission: 6 or 7 bolt? Need help

Does it mean, Chris, that this bellhousing fits a 7 bolt transmission? It does not look so when you look at both of them... The pattern on each of them does not seem to fit when you put them together

RBT transmission: 6 or 7 bolt? Need help

I am a bit confused. I am in the middle of my build, thinking now about the ZF/RBT transmission. I am planning to use a -2 and the bellhousing has 6 bolts/holes (picture below) to be attached to the transmission. Does the RBT has a 6 bolt pattern? I have been searching for some original ZF...

Ground Clearance: SPF vs 60´s GT 40

I do not think you can or should adjust engine and transmission height. Frank has worked with original cars. Frank, how do they solve that problem? Do they adjust engine and transmission height? Is the bell housing smaller? (race cars usually have smaller cluthches and flywheels)

Ground Clearance: SPF vs 60´s GT 40

Most originals (except MK II´s) were wet sumps, as the SPF 40. Transmisson on the production MKI´s was the ZF (in the MK II was the T 44, and early MK I´s had the weak Colotti).

Ground Clearance: SPF vs 60´s GT 40

Hi Folks. Looks to me that most of the SPF 40 are siting too tall from the ground. They look to have a higher ground clearance than the originals even on what they claim to be the lower setting. As they claim that the chassis, engine and transmission are the same as in the originals, How can...

    Original paint color

Thank you all. You are probably right Jimmy Mac. It will be a Ford UK color, and the Anglia one seems right to me. Checking the codes on the link on your answer, what are those codes for? What´s the meaning? How can I transfer those to PPG system? Last, Do you guys think the 1959 Lincoln...

    Original paint color

Thanks for your comments, folks. I have been searching on this web http://www.getppgcarpaint.com And the only Linden Green I could find was on 1976 GM vehicles. I have just found a 1959 Lincoln color chart in which it appears a Linden Green color. Would this one be the same as the one...

    Original paint color

I am trying to paint my car on the original 66 Ford Linden Green. I can not find the modern equivalent to that color in the paint charts that are on the market. Does anyone have any idea of the original color code? Any clues to find it?

    Historic GP Oporto

No. This is 1024 for sure. I met her last November in Madrid at The Tour de España. The car has got a sticker near the chassis plate of the 2003 Monterey Historic, so probably is the same car now in Europe
