I would not let the deck height be a deciding factor when choosing the 302 vs 351. There is approx 6 3/4"between cross member and body to work with and the exhaust fits pretty tight regardless of deck height. I believe the photo is of Brians RCR 347. Mine is a 351 and the exhaust uses the...
No need for electric water pump or anything special for the RCR Chassis. Shorty water pump and fits fine. CVF has complete setup just need a AC bracket. Check out Prestige Motorsports Facebook page they have a nice 347 readily available and can supply correct pan.

Exactly what Chris said. Tape the vac hose good at the tail pipe and use watered down Dawn soap. It works great! I have a video I will try and dig out.

I think I see the problem..your hands are too clean you need to get some grease under those nails. Car looks great! Once you get that engine fired up you will forget all about the starter issue. Waiting patiently for the first start video.
Thank You Rich
Looks like a nice fit. I am assuming you fabricated the bracket..nice. Are there any other attachment points other than the rear of the TA? Feel free to post a photo of the car I'd love to see what it looks like...nice color combo.
RCR GT40 MK1 351 with QA1 500lb rear springs and 400lb front. Front seems to be fine however rear seems I little too stiff. I am considering going to 400 or 450 on rear. Car is for road use only and the roads are not in very good shape. Anyone using 400-450 springs in rear?
Thanks
Phil
I thought the same thing. Rods axles look the same as mine..I don't see a need for adapters unless as you say Rods ZF is different.
Bryan, Glad to see your still checkin in.
