    Cheers from Italy

Hi Dom, I'm thinking about selling my factory built, turn key ERA GT40 if you know of anyone interested. It cost $160K to manufacture in 2002. The best of everything. I'm looking to get into a new Z06 Corvette convertible. I would let it go for $100K. 2 extra sets of tires. Black with White...

    Cheers from Italy

Congratulations on the ERA GT40. What is your chassis number if you don't mind me asking? Mine is 2066. We fly into Milan quite a bit if you ever need me to bring something over. My boss's daughter lives there.

    How are your panel gaps???

I figured it was best not to say. It wasn't an SPF. I was hoping other owners would critique there own cars. I don't want to throw stones. I was just surprised at the differences compared to mine. Being a turn key car from ERA, are nice gaps the product of a quality kit or the care and attention...

    How are your panel gaps???

Randy's thread got me thinking. I took a close look at my ERA and they are nice and tight. Same size gap on all panel lines, doors, etc. I just saw my first GT40 replica by another manufacturer at the Palm Beach International Speedway and couldn't believe the gaps. Non consistent and so large...

Gone for 10 years... Getting into a RCR40

At 10 years old, I learned how to drive stick in my brothers 1970 Cuda in a department store parking lot. That pistol grip shifter was so cool.

Superformance GT40 on "How It's Made"

I wish I had the talent to do welds like that. Anything I try to weld would break on the first bend:shocked:

Superformance GT40 on "How It's Made"

The welds are what sold me on ERA's cars, both the GT40 and the Cobra. They are a work of art. I had a stranger come up to me and ask about the cobra. I told him it was an ERA and the first thing he said was how beautiful the welds are. I was shocked, most people would never even notice.

Superformance GT40 on "How It's Made"

The Koenigsegg One:1 show that followed was amazing. Only 6 being made and all are spoken for. Over 270 mph top speed. That show got much more in depth than the Superformance segment. I enjoyed how they make their wheels from carbon Fiber. Their new camshaft technology looks interesting also.

    Show Me Your Weber Setup!

Thank You. The turkey pan was fabricated by ERA. Jim Inglese only lives about 25 minutes from me and tweaked the Webers about 2 years ago and they have been perfect ever since. They really preform well and you can't beat the look through the rear window. The car has Goodyear racing slicks with...
