Hi. I was at the le mans circuit for that stage. ACO put on nice room above pits, with coffee and gateaux laid on. Great. Shame I only saw 1 gt40. Still worth it though. By contrast, the classic days a couple of weeks later have a few more GT40's.

Just add my two pennies worth. Our Dad used to regularly take me and my brother to look at the cars at Foley Park Motors. I can remember seeing the GT40 there. Lime green it was.

Not seen much about this, but read that the great Leslie West died recently. One of my biggest guitar heroes. An inspiration for many. I will never forget seeing Mountain in 1972 at Birmingham,England.
