I had a bad seat in a carb fill the engine with gasoline, pan and all. was parked down hill and I drained the gas-oil but didn't do a good enough job, later spun a rod bearing. It does get into the oil, so make sure you get as much as the fuel out and change the oil a couple of times as it might...
I think we had an OLD OLD thread on this. Might have been related to water flow and things like that too. (Might have been a discussion about the RaceMate Pumps)
While snooping at the Aston Martin Pit it seems they run an electric pump on the V12's that won at Lemans a couple of years back.
I...
I have updated the calculator to allow you to now adjust the Percentage of Voltage Drop you might want to tolerate in the calculations. Other then that the same.

Don't know how bad the interference is, but I had similar problems with some of the scatter shields block plates in the past cars. Ends up mostly being a burr left from the stampings. If that's it get a drill or die grinder (a bigger hammer) and a sanding roll and see if that is all you...
Whipped up another simple tool. This one will help calculate wheel offset and rim edge movement (towards suspension or towards fender).
It's pretty simple, you could do the same with a couple of rulers and a calculator, but here it is if you find you want to try different widths and offsets and...
Added a simple Speedometer Gear Calculator.
Speedometer Gear Calculator
Nothing fancy does the simple math for you. Not sure about how to 'Metric' it up, but if anyone has that info I can add it in as well.

Did better then the Aston Martin driver the year I was there he touched the grass as was done. I also thought the same thing, Diesel Tune, nice.
Cool stuff.

In the States you can get them custom made by a company called Centroid
CENTROID PRODUCTS - Computerized Tank Display - Electronic Senders - capacitive fuel gauges
I have them on a couple of cars and they work well. Check out the site and you can see the options and how they work.

Looks interesting, but at close to 400 bucks for the tool plus supplies seems like I might stick with the old school way. Looks like a time saver if doing a lot of work. The demo makes it look almost too easy, but I think for the limitied use I will have to do it the old fashioned way ;-)

Mr. Mac
I had looked at them before I bough the Schnorr washers and seems like a possible use of them, but the porsche crowd seemed to have good results with the Schnorr versions which look to be pretty good since both sides are serrated, but with a little luck I'll torque them correctly, add...
Oh yes, being lazy, I look long and hard for the pre-drilled bolts, but they are hard to find in cap metric. I thought I found them at some of the sand rail shops but they ended up all being imperial thread.

I did have some concern for the bolts from McMaster but they came in not the...
Yes it is slow going to drill the safety wire holds. Got 3 bolts done so far and no broken bits, but it is a pain in the a$$ to do. Going to take a while. After getting the Metric sized jig things worked much better, so far no broken bits and those were the ones that came with it which I'm sure...
Yeah, I had the to do the 2x4" planks to get it in my driveway too, show some pics of the lift system, what is it?
And Bill, looking good, just ditch the Webers toss a 4bbl on it and your all done ;), hopefully the starter is an easy fix.

I have 3 of them on cars, they are slow to get things out but I can't say that I ever felt that I was being Ripped off. In fact, 2 years one sat on my shelf for a project only to find that the pulley offset was wrong, he sent me a new one no problem. He is SLOW AS MOLASSES for some things but...
Just loaded up the Haltech sofware and it is a bit newer then the Dos Version I think you snapped the screens off of, but looks about the same once I starting looking at it.
Again Thanks for taking the time to do the screen shots.
