    Ground Clearance

Chris, I set my Mark II to 4.5" front clearance, 5" rear clearance (roughly). I've already scrubbed it in a few locations. I will have it filled and repainted, at some point. Registration/VIN in Texas

Chris, I went through this just over a year ago. Consider going the route of "Custom Vehicle" in TX. It's a ONE TIME inspection (different type of inspection - ASE Certified Master Technician). You also get to choose your own plate for an additional $40 per year. That's much cheaper than the...

    Interesting Ignition Finding

When installing the ignition in my SPF40, we decided to run the coil wire from the starboard mounted coil upward, and into a small, rectangular chassis channel toward the middle of the car. This is the channel that runs across the car, just under the rear window. We saw other wiring running...

It was ~$2800 and I installed it with the help of a few friends, pizza, and beer. Everyone has their own desires in a lift, but this is a reasonably priced, solid performer. Good...

    Explain This Clutch/Transaxle Behavior

Gents, I have an SPF40 Mark II, with Roush 427SR, Quaife transaxle. I'm using the Quartermaster release bearing (721100 model), from Olthoff. When I really get on the accelerator and while the rpms are relatively high, I have trouble getting the car out of gear with the clutch pedal all the...

    Something is missing

Mike, If you use something akin to gasket maker or RTV, use "Right Stuff" by Permatex. You won't be sorry. Tim

Mike, Thanks for that reminder. If I made a bad assumption, I'll be glad for Amazon's easy return process. Chris, Those are in case the car turns over, no?

Uh-Oh - My Dealer Is Out of Business?

It looks like Edland Hi-Performance is no more (Addison, TX). Good thing I got my 40 fairly quickly through them.

    Battery Suggestions?

Ken, After trying an Odyssey PC925, I changed to a Braille B2015. It still fits in the battery box WITH the MSD box and has more CCA than the Odyssey. I'm happy with it.
