You could use an SGT lever arm for ZF direct fit. Alternatively, buy a splined boss to suit the shaft, fabricate the arm acc to the drawings and its sorted. Morten

Also, the Audi O1E sits 2” or so higher in the chassis over a ZFQ due to the offset box design and shaft angle. If the question of gearbox choice is going into a monocoque the O1E will not be wise as nothing will fit in regards to tub design.

Its more a question about use, how it will be driven, tyres, tarmac. Will you live on the redline and run the curbs with negative torque going through the shafts or be puttering along on country lanes in 50mph? ZFQ is fine for most of us within reason, same is the Audi box. An O1E can be had...

Another option for the tierods re: bumpsteer… fit rodends and mount from top of steering arm. Relocate steering rack to find the sweetspot. Its many videos on youtube.
