    Dusty's SLC Build

thanks for the ideas yesterday I spent some time at Ricks shop last eve discussing with him the brace issue and other build details. Although the brace does "feel" pretty dang strong it does "look" compromised toward the rear. Im actually not so concerned about the brace construction at the...

    Dusty's SLC Build

That’s why I love this for him. Legit honest well-informed criticism. No offense taken at all. I have the exact same concern about the brace. With regard to the rear triangulation-All of that is going back in. But the area at the top of the aluminum mounts also concerns me because we have that...

    Dusty's SLC Build

That’s a legitimate concern. Originally when I brought it to the Fabricator it was my idea just to put the collector on top of the factory brace and then cut a hole in the body so that the collector was out in the open for everyone to see and so that it could cool off without burning the...

    Bellcrank reinforcement plate ideas.

That particular car is a rear engine ultra 4 rock racer. 8 into one is hard to package into anything except rear engined machines

    Dusty's SLC Build

I can’t wait to listen to the eight into one exhaust note shreeking like a herd of rabid banshees. She only has a 6 inch straight through muffler. The sound will be brutal.

    Dusty's SLC Build

I’d like to give a little shout out to this Fabricator. About 10 years ago he was building desert race buggies/trucks and some of the best sprint cars in the world. He was also turning out some of the best hot rod and bike fabrication around. He lives in my hometown andeventually started seeing...

    Bellcrank reinforcement plate ideas.

I’ll be posting more pictures of my car in the near future but I thought I’d post A couple pics to this topic. We are rebuilding the cross brace to lower it for the eight in the one exhaust and Builder came up with this idea to reinforce that bellcrank. Seems pretty solid

    S2's Build Thread

This car has so much tech. Execution is phenomenal. On paper the car could be so fast assuming all the complicated systems work. What ambition Scott has to try and program a pneumatic shifting albins and work out an active wing. I wish you were my neighbor Scott. As far as the weight issue...

    Intermittent stalling

possibly vapor lock. Needs a return to tank system. It would be nice if you had a fuel pressure reading at the fuel rails.

    S2's Build Thread

Such a smart rethink of the fuel tank. This truly should be part of the fuel cell option from Superlight. I would bet money that Superlight would sell a lot more fuel cells if this was offered from the start.

    SLC 24 Howard Jones

i have been running a pair of cheap walbro fuel pumps in my Ultra 4 rock racer for 8 plus years. the2nd pump is there as a spare. but in 8 years the original has not failed. these pumps have a check valve but they start dry every time the car has been sitting for more than a day. I hear the pump...
