One thing I haven't seen talked about much is downforce? Was any preperation taken to keep the apex stable at high speed cornering or maybe room for a rear diffuser? Iam sure RCR has thought of something would like to hear about it.

As for the equal shaft questions a few post up, I've seen Eclipse Gst cars complete the "Half Shaft Mod" If you search for that you should find more information. Basically the gsx has a half shaft for its awd transmission that can also bolt up to a Gst transmission on the 4g63 or 4g64 block...

Pretty interesting about the FF 818. Didn't know about that project but Iam not too much of a fan of building a boxer motor ( sleeved cylinders and all) The stock block 4g63 is still setting records, and is a petty cool goal to look forward to on the gta chasis. I wonder what a gta would be...

Hmm, Thanks for the info. Wheelbase is rumored to be about 103in earlier in this thread and wikipedia puts the 7g Galant right at 103.7in. The suspension on the eclipse and 7g are also interchangeable as the knuckles,LCA,UCA, Calipers, and Sway Bars are the same. I know a lot of people...

Well like "DarkDevil" stated the 3g eclipse owners commonly upgrade to the Mitsu Evolution 9/8 4g63t motor or simply add a dohc and turbo kit. There would be little modification to utilize the 4g63t in a 3g eclipse. I have also seen very little problems when using a 4g64/63t combination...

Still a bit of speculation, I wonder if the donor car would be from the 2g(1995-1999) eclipse or 3g(2000-2005) eclipse my vote is for the 3g

Can't wait to see more pics, Its definitely tricky to determine the donor car from the render. It looks to be a 4g (2006+) eclipse though. Any details on what type of suspension it will use? Or hp limit recommendations? curious if this design can support 600+ whp.
