    Be careful

I personally don't think so but any things possible.......next question is I wonder if Hans was a factor in the driver walking away (red car)? Me thinks so.

    AC Issues

Tom, same questions as Dave. Your description is not clear, maybe a picture would help. Is the squeal constant, under acceleration, just initially at start up? Also, if the pulley is not covered by the belt at least 30%, maybe more, then the belt can slip.

    Paint Code GT40/P2091

If I recall, the chassis was 2090 and the color was British Green or something close to that. It'd be interesting to know. Somewhere I recently scanned over a thread here that had color codes, along with pictures, used on members replica GT40s.

Thanks Paul, I appreciate the explanation, it helps a lot. The tech would not elaborate on the bypass fuel coming into the bladder and to what extent it helps maintain fuel capacity in the bladder vs the escaping fuel out the bottom holes along with the pump demand. That's my concern, you helped...

    New GT40 trans combinations?

^Very well said and thought out Howard. I too have a G50 with very similar ratios and could not be happier for all the same reasons Howard mentions. Heres my G50: 3.44 final, 3.15, 1.79, 1.27, 0.97, 0.76 and I might add it's been one of the most durable trans' I've owned. Has not been opened...

    New GT40 trans combinations?

I'm planning on changing my ZF gears. I haven't a clue what Olthoff\Peterson were thinking when they built this ZF, 2nd & 3rd are too tall, 5th and maybe 4th are too low. So I can tell you what not to use: 4.00 final, 2.58, 1.47, 1.04, 0.826, 0.704 (1st thru 5th respectively) Tim

    in tank pump GT 40

Paul, are you running the Aeromotive pump in the long narrow tanks of a '40 or in a Cobra tank (another post of yours mentioned Cobra)? There could be a big distinction between the two. I’m assuming you have efi eight stack, what horsepower are you rated? <?xml:namespace prefix = "o" ns =...

    Some History...

With replica's being so accurate I'm often curious when viewing pics or video footage seemingly portraying actual originals. For example, in this video at 1:01 the side profile sweeping along the rear air intake forward to the top of the door, there appears to be a hard body line that I don't...
