Hi Chuck. I have a new RBT ZF 5 spd in my CAV Gulf spec. 1st gear is pretty short and getting into 1st gear is a bit of an art. Part of that I think is from how the set up of the shifter to tranny is and part the actual tranny. 5th gear gets me about 70mph at 2800rpm. This is somewhat higher...

John haven't rec'd mine yet. But I know it will be here soon. I think a cobra would be a great follow up. Maybe even the Daytona coupe. All were great cars of their time and still remain so today. Even more than most other cars IMHO.

Andre this is a very informative story. I wonder how the relationship is today? Especially since now you will be doing the new "old" shelby cobra at a fairly competetive price I understand. I'm still trying to find out exactly what's included and what's not on the CAV to compare apples to apples...
