I leave the heat treatment now. My frame would fit exactly in the oven, but areas of it would be too close to the heating flames, so that locally too high temperatures would occur. that would then be counterproductive. So better directly to paint :) Neil Thanks for the clarification, I'll look...

Yes 4130 35x2 mm I built my CNC router myself back in 1998. I am very glad that I still have it, whether parts or molds for GFK / CFK parts, you can do so much with it. Only for metal it is not designed.

Do any of you have any pictures of the inside of the hood and tailgate. I'm thinking about how I want to attach these to my frame. I have several pictures of the frame itself, but none of the inside of the GFK parts.
