    Which to choose from?

There are lots of Tornado's, RCRs, and CAVs on here plus many others. I would go through each of the build pages and look at pictures of the projects then call each manufacture. Get an idea of the cost and scope of the project and ask about rules shipping into canada. From what i know you...

Clutch Assembly I purchased the transaxle adapter from Kennedy Engineering. I had them supply the clutch as well. Their system uses the stock mustang starter as well. Be sure to follow the directions exactly. Each mounting bolt is a different length some by 1mm. stack

I am not using a crossover pump. I had bungs installed in both tanks near the very bottom. I then connected the tanks together with a 10an hose which should allow both tanks to level out. I installed a vent in both tanks, and i can fill from either side as well. I don't have a good picture of...

I used a moroso oil pan for this project. Originally designed for the Factory Five Cobra replicas it fits the build nicely. Part number is 20570.

For the fuel system i optioned for the fuel tanks that chris fabricates. I had him add a trap door similar to what an oil pan has to prevent all the fuel from sloshing forward during braking. The fuel pump sits in the driver side tank and is a internally regulated Aeromotive Phantom unit...

After test fitting the engine for interference issues I began working on the cockpit aluminum. The Active Power chassis uses 1/8" aluminum panels to fill out the cock pit space and isolate the driver and co driver from the engine compartment. These panels are silicon glued in pace and riveted...

Brakes are easy. Wilwood makes direct replacement for the corvette. Fronts are SLC56 and Rear are DPC56. These allow you to change the stock 2 piston front and single piston rear into 4 piston front and rear. These brakes do require a 17" rim. The parking brake is a drum in disc style and is...

Working on the wiring. Using a coyote motor requires a ton of wiring. I mocked up several different computer mounting locations and came up with in front of the passenger rear tire. I mounted the battery right next to it. The Fuse panel for the Ford Racing Control pack went on the opposite...

    Stack's Active Power GT40 Build

After test fitting the engine I flipped the chassis to attach the aluminum floor panels. I decided to make some additional panels to cover underneath the engine and transaxle as well. Panels get a bead of silicon adhesive to prevent rattling and then are attached with 3/16 rivets. I will make...

Brakes The Active Power Kit is designed to use the corvette front and rear brakes. Thes brakes are included when you purchase your control arm assemblies, but you can also use any brake kit designed for the C5 or C6 corvette. In my case i chose to use the Wilwood 4 piston front and rear...
