Jeff, That's great your not to far from me in Spring Hill, West of Brooksville. Also you get to work on it year round. Been pretty cold lately so good time to complete your projects inside the garage.

David
Pat, Not sure of this comment? You should not have a bushing and the pitot bearing in the crank. Only the pilot bearing that came with Safir kit. If your doubling up that will cause your issue.
Pat, I know there are a few out there that have not bolted there Safir bellhousing on yet and possibly could put theirs out and lay it flat block side down and measure from the block side up to the back side of trans mating surface. That would tell total depth and you could measure yours . Mine...
Pat, I had the issue but noticed it while installing the bellhousing. I made mine where I can pull Trans without bellhousing. See pictures where teeth touched and where a had to massage the bellhousing. I'm sure Bob from Safir will confirm. Keep at it.
Adam, I went to your site to see if you offered one for a MKI and nothing there. Would you have one for a MKI? It looks like two separate fuse holders. Love your detail and I know it would be perfect. Thank you
I seated mine in the crank and with it flush the trans would not have seated. I would grease the pilot shaft and slide the trans back in until it stops and pull the trans back out inspecting the grease on the pilot shaft and see if the grease is wiped all the way to the splines of the input...
Mike, what type of adapter are you using on your airlift to where the cap is? Is it a cone that you twist and make it swell up to fit the hole below the cap? If it just twist on the cap and seals the top surface of resivor then you are more then likely pulling vacuum through the top hose that...
Mike you've come a long way from your first post on this and I'm glad to say you have went about it the best way with no short cuts and you know your car a lot better now. Here's to many miles of no coolant leaks for you and your bird flipping finger.
Caster will cause the symptoms you have . That is changed with ride height thus changing spindle angles . Does the steering wheel return on it's own when you turn and let go of the wheel?
Ben, There were other posts that were removed from this thread and one of them Mark came out and told the truth about how they used your photo's and did state that you did not scam him. It was at about post number 10 and 14. Thanks for what items you offer without worries.
