    Speed sensor for GM ECU?

It easier and cheaper to take it to a chassis dyno, get it fiddled with for max efficiency/performance. You've effectively changed its behavior since bolting a transmission to it. It's 'learning' ECU but that doesn't fix everything.

    Speed sensor for GM ECU?

I had this issue in a previous engine and it wasn't a vss issue. It had to do with the governed in the programming.

    Potenza RE-11 tires?

I believe you and definitely Randy (I spent more time with him in a little CR-V than I care to admit). I was just busting his chops. All good advice all around. I appreciate it :)

    Potenza RE-11 tires?

Thanks Pete. Considering my car doesn't fit in any of the events I want to compete in, unless it's in the "X" class, tire selection is WIDE open. probably time for some slicks! YAAAA BUDDY!!

I'm on it fellas! The verdict is in and my wallet is dry but its officially aligned, weighed and race prepped. Check the attachment for weight and four corners weight distribution. This is with 10 gallons of fuel so it weighs just under 2,500lbs.

FWIW, I found out a local shop that specializes in setting up Porsche 911 race cars. I handed them my SLC for a professional alignment and basically told them to go over the car as they would one of their race cars. Well, well, well... did they ever find a few things that I had over looked...

    SLC-Stealth Lambo Crusher

Michael, see my thread about a simple and very effective brace for the wing uprights. :) I think in total it cost me maaaybe $7 because grade-8 stuff is pricey.

    SLC-Stealth Lambo Crusher

Hi Michael, I looked through the thread and didn't see what tail you have, but that intake will not fit under the stock 'race' tail. Either the clam has to be modified or the intake modified. If you have the 'street' tail, disregard me.

Maybe darty isn't the right word... I'd say it was very positive feeling and did exactly what I wanted it to do with ferocity.

My claim to fame is getting hitting in the head by a dirt chunk from Dale Jr. while he was up at the dirt track for "celebrity" night. LOL

My guess is that you wouldn't need the sway bar if you are only driving it on the street. Those are on my list of tires to look at :) The front is about 3" give or take, I can slide my foot under it but it's pretty low. The plan for this was really as you said, a "by the book" type build...

Eric's SLC Project Code Name "Grifter"

Yep, it's a requirement for the racing series I enter from time to time. I think by doing this it makes it a "street" tire so they are trying to keep cost down, but all it takes is more money...
