Just getting back to my 3 d work, as over the past month there was so much work to do in my job, so ther was no time. I changed the frame (lower) to 40x40 mm Tubes, and finaly got my engine and trans right in it today. I lke it pretty much to see it works fine.

Well after putting in the Mono. chassis dimensions of Brian and with the fiberglaspoint of Ryan (see exterior Thread), iam liking the fitting of the body on my chassis. Now Ican make the rear and the front of the chassis ready....

Yes the bodyhull is one from GrabCab. But only to count the Floorpan and 2 times the sidesills will in my eyes not work. As the roof section is wider than the sidesills. Pls see pictures from Mono. chassis. As Iam working on original measures, i need to know how much the with of the roof...

Hey ryan, this is an good perspective, i think about the 40/40 mm! The rough body is from Grabcad, it is not in right scale, so you have to bring it to scale! .... I use Fusion360 for 3D drawing Chris

Hi, all okay ! I think this forum is to discuss, and when advices come it`s great for all.. the Hermsen-chassis we had was also using 35 mm tubing and other sizes, so i think it will work

I want to create an spaceframe chassis as backbone, than covered with panels and elements to look like an original MK1. The main chassis will be 35x35 mm Steeltubes (wallthickness 2 mm), the rest frame will be smalersizes, depending on load / use - as possible. This is where i stay now... Hope...
