Hey Del, I'd go for mid as well for one-piece side windows. Thanks!

    Tinted Lexan Windows - Please?

Definitely interested! Particularly after having moved to Texas :)

    Dusty's SLC Build

Love the bandsaw -- agree it's one of those things you can't live without once you have it! I bought a cheap one at Harbor freight which works fine for aluminum and wood, but no adjustable speed so I can't use it for stainless (too fast).

    Mason’s Build: Superlite SLC

Kyle is right, mounts to the spider, but there's still a gap between the spider and chassis. I cut spacers for mine -- similar gap. I actually bought a 1.5" diameter Delrin rod off e-bay and just use it to cut off body mount spacers. Works great.

Restarting my SLC project in West Texas

Hey Hector, when I installed mine I couldn't find a useful alignment tool, but you can actually access the clutch bolts through the starter mount hole in the transaxle. So I just loosely put the clutch bolts in, then used the input shaft as my alignment tool, then started snugging the bolts...

Thanks guys! Good advice on the finishing. And yes agree with both on the pivot bolts. I ordered 3/8 flanged bearings and shoulder bolts, just didn't have them yesterday when I finished the brackets.

I ended up making my own hood hinge out of 1/4" aluminum plate and 1.5" aluminum square bar for the spacer. I need to install pivot bushings still, but they're operational. They're not as pretty as the CNC pieces from RCR, but I got tired of waiting. ;) Given I only have a miter saw and drill...

Yes, I'll definitely keep an eye on them for wear. The housings are aluminum not plastic, but if they start getting chewed up it will be easy to put a simple shield over them.

I've been getting headlights, taillights, and cameras installed and wired up. Using weatherpack connectors on the front and rear clips for easy removal. I decided to add side cameras in addition to front/rear since side visibility on these cars isn't wonderful. I went back and forth on the...

Restarting my SLC project in West Texas

I had a similar issue with mine. I ended up sticking a jack under the driver's side front (with the radiator unbolted to avoid damage). Kept the side bolts tight, but the floor bolts to the monocoque loose. I jacked it up to tweak the driver's side panel even with the passenger side. I was...

    Dan's Build

Yes please! I'm debating on making my own like you did versus waiting and shelling out the cash for the ones from RCR :) Thanks!!!!

    Mason’s Build: Superlite SLC

Looks beautiful, Mason! Can't wait to hear how the completed system sounds! I think once you remove the sound deadening patch from the transaxle, the back end is definitely a showcase of it's own :)

    Mark B's Build Thread

I dropped an e-mail to Jay at Infinitybox and he called me back within a couple of hours -- they always have great customer service! As it turns out, a few of the first cars with the Olds Intrigue steering column (the one RCR started using in late 2013/early 2014 had the Infinitybox column...

    Mark B's Build Thread

So it looks like my headlight controls are not working properly. Can anyone with InfinityBox and the Olds (2014+) column chime in? When I turn the headlights on, the dims and brights both go on. Then when I turn the brings on, they both turn off. Has anyone else had problems with InfinityBox...

    Taillight plug part number?

The new sockets with pigtails came in yesterday and they fit perfectly for $30 total. So if you're looking for a clean solution here are the Amazon links: set of 2 for Reverse light: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07TJQTB88/ref=ppx_od_dt_b_asin_title_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 1 piece for...

    Taillight plug part number?

That could work as well. The connectors are around 1/8" or 3mm wide so you'd just need smaller female spade connectors

    Taillight plug part number?

Yea that's where I landed also :) I ended up searching on replacement sockets last night and found some shat should fit for $30 total shipped instead of $100. The two sockets on the light housing are different (one is 2-ears, one is 3). I stayed with the 3157s since I already had LED 3157...
