I'm using a combo of Prothane and Energy suspension poly mounts for the driveline in our car. As the transaxle mounts are thinner than the stock GTD rubber ones and Roy's engine mounts are adjustable, I can drop the motor to some extent. What do the GTD boys recommend for nominal clearance...

Although I have not built one, I have seen a bunch, been in one (thanks Bill!) and have been to the FFR open house. In my opinion, they do a good product, and the bang for the buck is significant. If you have not been, the FFR open house is not to be missed. Brian

I don't think 600 bucks will cover paint. I have been told by the local hot rodders to expect to consume about 2,000 bucks worth of fillers, primers and paint. I have been forewarned by many, DO NOT buy cheap materials to paint these cars. Brian
