I'm about half way through setting out the lower chassis rails. It's great fun putting all the pieces together - like building a giant Lego set :).

Interesting - I wonder what needs to be changed? Maybe the outer diameter needs to be turned down a little?

Hi Darrin There was a link in my post to the part on ebay, but I'd obviously done it too subtly! You've found it though, so that's the main thing. I understand these should be a direct replacement, but yep, it would be good to get it confirmed first if poss.

Camber adjusters - there's a guy selling steel camber adjusters on ebay in the UK. Sized to fit the Ford drag link thread, M18x1.5. He also does a version with matching sleeves for if you're fabricating your own wishbones.

I've got the lathe all sorted now - stripped, cleaned and painted. I've done a few test pieces and think it's working well.

That's looking great Keith. I really like how the inside of the doors is all black. To me, it looks more 'production car' / professional than when they are body colour.

Fantastic - thanks Mick. I'll PM you my address... I asked Darren about the GTS chassis. The GTS chassis was developed with more triangulation than the GTD chassis and if you arange the tubes correctly you can pass the loads throughout the chassis and share the load across a lot more...

Yes, all rails are 16swg. The roll cage is 12swg. Not sure what dimensions the GTDs are, but the GTS chassis internal cockpit width is 1060mm. Less a bit if you have the gear stick on the right instead of on the tunnel.
