Thank you for noticing that. I would have burnt my hand to a crisp eventually. I have to wrap my head around this. Not sure which direction I will go.

Yes. It’s not painted and the top isn’t finished because I will certainly need to trim it when I fit the clam on. I have redone and triple done enough on this car to guarantee that. This is what I am hiding

I just traced the outline of the fiberglass onto poster board. The horizontal dimension was 10 1/2 in and 22 in high. My depth was 4 1/2 in to hide the fusebox and msd. I took into account the angle of my firewall to lay flush with the bottom after I bent it. My angle was74 degrees.

I have had some fun with anodizing. My parts came back horrible orange brown gold. So they went back and I love how they look now. And I’ll offer a small piece of advice. The 4 bolts at the bottom of the U at the back of the chassis go in before the engine. That was my 4th time taking the...

I went with the Davies Craig pump and the cover. The pump is from summit but I think I ordered the cover from them directly. https://daviescraig.com.au/product/ford-windsor-early-ewp-block-adapter-8640

I dialed my bellhousing in. The lateral numbers were in tolerance but the face was off. The tolerance is .002 in. I had to sand the paint off the block on one side because it was put on too think.

Yes it’s tempered glass. You get 2 aluminum trim pieces for the window in the firewall from RCR. I brought one to a glass guy who cut a piece of tempered glass 1/2 inch bigger. Cost 50-60 bucks. I then used epoxy to glue it in on 1 side. I used foam strip on the opposite side to seal it in.

So I followed the recipe Tom used in his RCR 40 trackracer in make my the double firewall sandwich. I’m finally finished. And just to be true to my build, I had to take it out again and sand several areas back to fit the spider correctly. I missed one small detail. He brilliantly took a 1/4...

Not understanding the delivery process, looking for help.

I paid 50% down payment then 50% when it was ready to be delivered. I live 2 hours from RCR and visited a couple of times. The place was filled with rolling chassis. While I was there a trailer dropped the fiberglass for 2 cars. Those are made in Canada and that seems to be the bottleneck...
