My local Superformance dealer said yesterday that there is going to be a $10,000 (yes, that's $10,000) price increase in the SPF GT roller for 2007, as of January.
I was at the Superformance dealer in Reno today. It appears that RBT was blind-sided by the demand for the ZF by the introduction of the SPF GT and is around 6 months behind in filling orders. Like was said above, order the transaxle at the same time as the car.
Weren't the T44's designed and made by Kar Kraft, Ford's racing/specialty subsidiary? How many can there be "out there"? And how easy would it be to mate one up with the Roush 427?
