Mark, good info. I am requesting a quote from Armor Tech. I used your name so that there would be no ambiguity. Thanks again, Mike

    Mark's GT-R Build

That's good info. I wasn't ready to order parts but I had been laboring under the assumption that the wheel/hub interface was GM. Is RCR hub boss sized for Forgestar wheel? Is inboard side of spacer relieved for larger boss for Forgestar wheel?

    Mark's GT-R Build

If I understood Ken's comments on Dean's site, he is concerned about the lack of a boss on the spacer that engages the wheel hub. The spacer on my car is flat on the wheel mating surface, unlike the hub surface it mates too. The link is to a spacer that I think responds to Ken's concern. Wheel...

    Costello’s GT-R / SC Coyote Build

I think that Dean Lampe reported on this in his thread. The folks at Ford Racing told me that they thought that the charge valve vacuum reservoir which is on the "back" of the Mustang engine would interfere with front dress. They indicated that any of the pre charge air valves would work. Mike

    RIP Bob Hoover

I had the opportunity to see his show in the P-51 and the Shrike Commander. Tremendous displays of airmanship. The "deadstick" finish to the Shrike show complete with rolling up to his parking spot on the flightline was incredible! If I recall correctly, when he paced the unlimiteds to their...

Jason, I have forgotten. What is your current red line, fuel cut off? The Ford racing guys appear to be very comfortable with 8k for the aluminator. Mike

I really doubt that there is any problem. I have wondered if it was thermal insulation. The exhaust system is a big box just behind the T/A.

    Mark's GT-R Build

About the sound proofing on the back of the transaxle: I agree about the "look". What I wrestle with is why is it there. The surface is at the back end of the OEM vehicles, not near the cabin and there is a great deal of "noise" there. Do you think we would remark about the gear whine as the...

90 degree crank V-8 exhaust system

I am sure that this is going to generate some snickers, but here it goes! What I think I know: 90 degree crank V-8's do not generate equally spaced exhaust pulses in each bank. In order to improve scavenging, some systems incorporate an H pipe or X pipe to interconnect the exhaust systems...

Probably should. My understanding is that the only way to get a 5.2 today, or planned, is buy the car.

    All Things Coyote

I would like this thread to be a place for the discussion of Coyote problems and solutions. I have not found the volume of information as regards intakes, exhaust systems, front dress, ECU's etc as compared to LS for those of us who have or intend to install the Coyote behind our heads. I have...
