Given that SVA in the UK does a rolling road test on the "handbrake" (actually a mechanicaly applied independant brake test in SVA speak) I have elected to go for the (proven) Brembo option (used on Ferrari 360, Aston Martin, Ultima and Gardener Douglas T70) Andy Burrows at GD was most helpful...

Still waiting on info from HiSpec and the guy in New Zealand. Found out that the Viper has separate handbrake calipers (should be pretty beefy given weight and power of car), anybody know anything about them? John

This caliper is "hydra/mechanical". Not sure if SVA would pass it (the HiSpec monster 4 seems to use the same technology) Of course they may not notice as the HiSpec has only recently gone onto a "verboten" list having been passed on earlier occasions. John
