    Toronto Award Winning SL-C

One body will still look fantastic at 60 years old, the other , well, time will take it's toll. You guess which....I already know! Jennifer

    RCR- SEMA- Caddy

There are plenty of repossession teams on TV these days...I would just LOVE an episode where a tow truck shows up at one of these snobby show-car events and takes possession of the car, and gets it headed back to RCR where it can wait to be paid for, or sold to cover amounts due . now THAT...

    RCR's Next car should be.....

"no P4/5 though...." I don't suppose that James was too worried about that. Beautiful project he and the cohorts in Italy put together though! I found some video of him actually driving it on the freeway as part of New York driving club event. I for one am glad that he actually takes...

    RCR's Next car should be.....

Many years ago I watched a 956 or 962 burn to the ground at Portland International Raceway....So sad.... I can't wait to see Fran's version....I suppose with suspension geometry that will be correct for really wide race tires, given the intended use as a track only car .... JC

    RCR's Next car should be.....

Much of the door was shared between the Lola Mk6, the Europa, and with minor skin alterations to include the scoop lead-in and the 'roof' also the GT40. I agree the color of that Banks 62 is one that only it's mother could love...

    RCR's Next car should be.....

This IS all well and fun, but the question still begs....What should RCRs next car be? I'm sure Fran already knows!...and I'm also sure it wont be a Lotus...Banks has that well covered. Will it be a post 917 Porsche, such as a 956 or 962??? Did I hear that somewhere????

    My Can-am drawings

Please, you must offer prints, or high res downloads...Wonderful work. I would enjoy having them all in my office..They are from my favorite time in racing...I got to see a lot of that later 60s, early 70s CanAm in person....and set my view of favorite car designs for life. Jennifer

    917 Le Mans museum restart....

Wonderful that these cars are being brought back to running....What an engine! It revolutionized racing in Europe and the USA in its day, in both naturally aspirated and turbo forms....One of the best designs ever, perhaps the best engine of all time.... Jennifer

    RCR's Next car should be.....

RE: the blue car with white stripe...It this a test? Without doing any research, it reminds me of the pre-GT40 Lola, the one that Ford looked at and decided to 'hire' Broadley for a few years to do what became known as the GT40....There are also some Lotus 47/Europa lines hiding in there....a...

    RCR's Next car should be.....

That BMW is very cool....modern, aero, and something close certainly could be lurking in the sophisticated SLC underpinnings..... Noble sure started something with his P4 replica....Many followed....Now there are several sources, from virtually tube and panel exact, to affordable and...

    RCR's Next car should be.....

Through the skin is a necessity, on two frionts...first the lack of clearance under, but more importantly to me, the sight of the velocity stacks on the Webers or Hillborn or Lucas or?? induction of the day was part and parcel to the enjoyment of watching and hearing the CanAm cars at Road...

    RCR's Next car should be.....

It was an amazing time for engineering...chassis, tires, engines and the beginnings of aero...all were advancing at an alarming rate in CanAm, making cars obsolete in what seemed like only a few months time...Tires went from treaded to soft gooey slicks at twice the width in only a few years...

    RCR's Next car should be.....

Hi Fran, I had not yet see that thread....Thanks for alerting me to it.. Once this business climate turns around we get back in the $$, I'm going to buy one of your P4s....I'm pretty serious about the CanAm rear deck....It's been a few decades since I did bodywork from scratch with the boys, but...

    RCR's Next car should be.....

Well look what I found...someone already did what I had envisioned...This P4 replica has had the screen and doors cut down, and the CanAm style rear fitted... What a great summer car! Hey Fran, how hard would it be to cut down the rear bodywork on your P4 to create some like this?

    RCR's Next car should be.....

If the 917 Kremer is too 'hot' for the street, then perhaps this variation of the P3, P4 would be perfect for a summer day's drive in the countryside.... It would be a perfect summertime road and track-day sports car. However, I do prefer the lines of the P4 coupe body in the front and...

    RCR's Next car should be.....

I couldn't help myself...photos of it in battle, and an interior shot for you guys to enjoy. .Even as a died-in-the-wool P4 fanatic, I have to appreciate the 917, and this uber-developed variation especially so. P4, 917, GT40, T-70....all seminal works of engineering art. I guess I really...
