    Assembling a Monocoque

There may be a particular agenda that Mr Kojac is pushing, maybe there isn't. Regardless this is not the thread that this line of discussion should continue on so lets get off it and let Bune get on with showing us his fine workmanship. Personally I am very interested in learning more about the...

    Warning lights

I could be totally wrong but I thought that the white one was the radiator fan indicator light. The fans may have been controlled manually or at least may have had a manual over ride.

    Roaring Forties GT40 #083

Hi Paul, The unit was originally supplied by RF1. Is there any way to identify the types of manifold. I have not spoken to burns for some time but he did have similar issues and I will have to catch up with him to see how he has progressed. In it's current state in runs reasonably well. It is...

    Roaring Forties GT40 #083

Hi Gus, I love the car mate, it came together very well. The only difficulty that I have had has been with the DC & O manifold. Trying to get someone who can actually tune these things properly via the Motec has been difficult. It is running clean but is a little rich at the moment...

Ammeter ? for Doc Watson (ANDY)

Hi Doc, Have you had any progress with the plastic 'chinese hats'. I have not had a chance to do anything with them to date but will have to look at getting something done shortly and would be interested to see how your forming method works rather than trying to machine them.

John, Very good price. I can see why you went that way. Still a shame that you have to change the spindles.

    GT40 Mk1

I agree John, Sometimes the more expensive option works out cheaper in the long run. Was there much of an initial saving on these?? It will be a shame to go to the effort that you have and then have to modify the correct items to make the incorrect ones fit.

    Original Replacement Parts.

Great work and attention to detail as usual Jay. Your work has also impressed an owner of an original car who visited your shop recently. That type of recommendation rates highly.
