    Thanks Lambo. I think I might be ok there, but will near it in mind. Can anyone tell me what I need to do? I have no problems working on gearboxes, but not having touched a UN2 before, would rather not go in blind :(.

    Hi again folks. Sudden loss of 5th gear today. Selection of all other gears is fine, but gear selection will not move past 3/4th position. It is as if 5th gear selection is out of alignment :(. I have seen mentioned the removal of the rear cover. Is this easy to do, to check the selection...

    Just a follow up to this thread - now insured with Classicline (needs a Tracking device too), but there are lots of Complaints about Adrian Flux going around at the mo - large price rises and cancelling policies with no refunds..... here is a couple of links...     It is nothing to do with tracking your driving. It's a case if finding the motor if it is stolen.... It appears it is the norm for any vehicle valued at more than £40K. Mind you, I am still bemused by Adrian Flux' comment of " you do realise that most kit/replica vehicles are valued at less...

    The 60% hike was with Footman James and the Insistence on a tracker was with AF. will see what Classic have to say. over £800 for 1500 miles seems like taking the proverbial.

    Just had my new renewal come through - 60% increase :(. Only other option is to have a tracker fitted :o. - works out at 50p a mile. Feels like I am being shafted - and no - I am not 23 and live in the middle of London... Anyone else in the UK seeing this huge price hike?

    I know this is an old thread - but just a quick Q... I notice that all the air take-offs are mounted on the sidewall. Is there any reason why all of the air from those intakes could not be routed to the brakes or cabin, or is only a small air flow required? I was thinking of using those intakes...

    Can anyone help with the Specn. for the seat eyelets? Are they (or were they) Brass or tinned? what size are they, 12mm, 1/2"? Are they a "standard" size, easily available or where can I obtain them from?

    I know this is an old thread, but can anyone help me get the eyelets (are they brass or silver)? I am in the process of getting my seats recovered and need to obtain the eyelets to finish the centre squab. Sizes might help. Frank/Andy do you sell the eyelets seperately?
