    gt40p/chassis #1029

Gary is an interesting guy. Got to know him through his model co (over past 15 yrs I have purchased a variety of his planes, trains, cars and ship models). Rick's link above gives an idea of the quality and detail but, one needs to see to believe. He would drive from Mi in his van to deliver...

    Failed Shock Mount

Jim, You asked: "I looked at your photos, it appears that you moved the sway bar mount to a separate plate. Was this to remove any potential twist to the mount? Additionally, does that new plate add reinforcing to the shock mount. " Yes to both of your questions. Steve

    Big Block vs Small Block

Ian, If we are strictly talking racing I agree but, in my post I try to give my experience with a 351 W (408) in the Cobra vs my Shelby all aluminum 482 in the MK11. I use the car as a road car and believe me it is much more user friendly with the 482 than the 408 and at the lower rev's of...

    Big Block vs Small Block

Alan, Well said in your last post. Of course it is a matter of personal preference but, for me my MK11 with the FE BB IS far better than the high strung 351 Windsor 408 I had in the Cobra. It is docile and tractable on the street (70MPH @ 2K RPM) but with just a touch of the pedal WOW...

Mk2 Balance Pipe - Fuel Tanks

Boy am I glad SPF didn't go 100% acurate on my MK11 with rubber bladders and 4" crossover tube under my legs and all the metal to bladder connections ect. What a nightmare! Guess was OK for a FACTORY race car to tear down/inspect/repair between races but, sure not right thing for a road...

    Exhaust fumes in car

I too have found that just opening the "toll" windows does not give good flow through so now run with the "pop out (helo) vents and the toll windows open unless I need AC. With AC I run outside air (not recirc) and all window pop out and toll's closed. Works for me Steve P2125
