How to properly plumb and fill Quaife Transaxle when using external cooler pump and cooler?

Maybe the real answer is that the cooler, lines and pump hold an insignificant amount of fluid - fill the transaxle to the high level plug and then let the system stabilize? Maintain oil level when cold and oil has drained back from cooler? Would welcome your thoughts - Thank you everyone!

How to properly plumb and fill Quaife Transaxle when using external cooler pump and cooler?

Thank you for your responses. Oil Pan / Sump Pictures

I use the Aviaid GT-40 oil pan on my 427FE. I also installed a 3 QT oil accumulator - allows pre-oiling before start up and will provide oil pressure for a short burst should I lose it on a long sweeper corner. I don't think that will happen with the Aviaid pan and the 9 quart capacity but it is...

Steel vs aluminium flywheel - what do you run?

I have a 427 FE in my GT40 Mk II. I purchased the Tilton triple disc carbon fiber clutch and when it came in I just couldn't bolt it to just any modified flywheel. So we made a chrome-moly spoked flywheel. Now the total assembly, clutch flywheel and hardware weigh in at just under 20 pounds. The...
