That's short circuit too, no Melbourne Loop. I'd think most of that time is made up in braking and corner speed rather than acceleration. Plus the Gr C cars were on slicks and T70 on Dunlop post historic treads. Darren

Just a thought but why not use one of the current electronic "Classic" tacho's on the market. There are a few around now with original 60's style Smiths faces and they operate with a "Chronometric" style needle movement below a set RPM, say 3000. Above this they revert to a normal electronic...
