If you get into a situation where you need to drill into hard material try using a reverse rake on the drill bit with carbide. This is the same rake one would use when drilling brass.

My want to think about drilling blind some holes in the bottom of the plate for the epoxy to grab hold of during cure time. Using a disc sander with a abrasive disc with a cross hatch pattern works well also.

Do you have room to install the bolts from underside of the tunnel? I was thinking of using stainless anchor bolts from the bottom side with some epoxy or silicone to prevent water intrusion. Also, do you happen to know what the thread size on the Graz for hooking up the oil cooler lines?

You need 1.5 times the diameter of the thread to achieve maximum holding for the bolt you are using. So, if you are using a 1/2 diameter bolt you need 3/4 length of thread. General practice in the tool and die trade.

Hey Dean, Did you look at the Peterson unit with remote primer before deciding on this unit? I specified the Peterson on my engine and if this makes more sense I will change. Safety first!!!

I spoke with a company today that installs complete MoTeC systems from A-Z. How about 30-35 thousand and 5-6 weeks? That is about 65 percent of a Lemans with some great options. If you don't know what your doing with these systems, I guess you pay for those who do.
