Ron, Another technical option which might be simpler would be to have two options for New Posts: ... FAQ Community New Posts New Posts+Paddock and users click on what they feel like at the time.

There is of course a technical solution: there could be a section in our profile/settings where the forums are listed with a checkbox next to each where we could individually specify what is indexed for ourselves.
