I got a little play out of the stock quick release steering wheel. I upgraded to an NRG and I think the steering is more direct than my old 911 turbo. Could you be feeling the play there?

You can cut the Cableshift shifter shaft almost in half then re-die it. It allowed me a decent size knob plus quicker shifts. Nice build Cam. Who would ever think there would be dual Cam's on the GT40 blog?!

I'm super happy with the gelcoat. Compared to the Porsche paint I had on my previous several cars, I'll take gelcoat all day long. 100% worry free and looks 90% as good. I was always repairing scratches, buffing, wasting time on the Porsche paint. Then again, I have 3 kids, 4 dogs and 16k miles...
