Windage tray - yes or no?
Windage trays are pretty inexpensive and have been proven to 'up' the horsepower at least 'a bit' on any given engine from mild to wild (do a search if you doubt that). In really high output 'mills', the h.p. difference can be pretty dramatic. So, if there's sufficient clearance available, why...- Larry L.

Looking for info
I'm not aware of any 'vintage' Chevy V6 or V8 that had a front mounted distributor. I know that "Summers Bros" used to make a kit that relocated the distributor to the front and drove it off the engine's timing chain assembly...but the engine above doesn't appear to have one of those. 'Doesn't look like a GT40 to me...more like a conglomeration of 2 or 3 vehicles. Who is its manufacturer? Its 'nose' looks somewhat familiar (not really a GT40 nose), but I can't place it.- Larry L.

Anyone going to SEMA this year?
We WOULD HAVE if the tickets available for purchase three months ago could have been counted on to be VALID during the 1st week of November and not CANCELLED at the last minute! Right now things look pretty much 'stable'...but who knows... :rolleyes: - Mr. Pessimistic- Larry L.
