    FS USA Thompson Ball Bushings

While cleaning my shop in preparation for moving into Tucson, I found some spare Thompson Super Ball Bushings. I have discussed using these in a thread on shift linkages. The diameter of a shaft running through the bushings is 3/4". I used Thompson centerless ground Case 60 rod in my car and it...

Gearbox linkage : from rods to cables

Transaxle shift linkages in a mid-engine car can be difficult. Here is how I did it with a Porsche G50 5-speed transaxle (not a GT40, though). I used Thompson ball bushings and Case 60 shaft. This geometry preserves the conventional 5-speed shift pattern.

    Thoughts on fuel inertia switch?

Sometimes oil pressure sensing switches are used in industrial applications to protect engines. I suppose it would work in a car, too if the engine stopped. If so, the switch could shut off an electrical fuel pump.

FS USA Borgeson Aluminum U-Joint. $15 + shipping

Aluminum steering u-joint made by Borgeson. One end has splines fitting Ford (?) rack & pinion, the other fits a tube or steering shaft.
