    FS USA Free Bolts

That is true. There is an under head radius where the head meets the shank of the bolt. This is a feature of all aerospace or military bolts. Hardware store bolts omit this feature and I avoid them on this basis. That radius is a key point in extending the fatigue life of a fastener.

    Need cooling help please

I recommend using Gates Power Grip shrink bands on silicone hose It grips tight without cutting the hose like a metal clamp.

    FS USA Free Bolts

I was cleaning out my shop prior to moving into town and I found three bolts that I did not use, so I thought that perhaps someone else could use them- probably in the suspension mounting. These are extremely high quality 1/2- 20 UNF tension bolts that bear a Boeing Aircraft part number. The...

    Jokes anyone? -

It won't help if you are anywhere near ground zero but if you are further away it would prevent flash burns and getting a face full of glass shards.

    Jim's RCR Lola build.

Your mention of VIR reminded me of going there with John Sable back in about 1968,. There was a great surplus store outside of South Boston. The owner operated a little convenience store there. D Day

Green must have been a very intelligent fellow to have gotten away with his activities there. I remember seeing the movie "The Colditz Story" many years ago. If I remember correctly, the POWs built a glider in the attic and Douglas Bader was a famous prisoner there.

The Germans tried to deal with the epidemic but by that time close to the end of WW II there...

    John Horsman's Gear Ratio Notes

I was going through some files and I found some notes that John Horsman had given me some time ago. They may be of some interest to the forum members so I scanned them and I will post them here. Note the tire expansion vs speed curves ! This just adds a bit to the GT40 provenance.

Restarting my SLC project in West Texas

Get used to all the attention your car generates, it never ends. A fellow almost fell out of the passenger-side window of a van while it was driving down the road. He was taking a picture of my car.

    GT40 vs the Competition

I used Suspension Analyzer 2.4 by Performance Trends for my race car front & rear suspension design. The program is fairly intuitive and easy to use.
