If someone has made a Viper 8.0 V10 fit, the 5.5/6.0 Benz V12 should be shorter. I do know that the motor fits in the same space that the Benz 5.5 V8 fits in. I will get some measurements tomorrow, but it is pretty compact once you strip the plastic cover crap off.

The Tilton set ups I have driven were with Tilton 7# flywheels. Motor revved like a motorcycle. Best clutch I have driven, that is once you are moving. Can easily hold the power in a triple disk, but I have only driven on sintered metal disks, not cf disks which are supposed to be a little more...

I have been loving the Biturbo 6.0 V12 in the SL65 soooo much, I couldn't help but to think how insane it would be in the SLC. So, started checking into it. Used lower mile motor with turbos= $4500 (less than what the cost to build my 1UZ to what I want it to) Kennedy says they see no problem...

    Dan's Build

Could be a good reason to buy yourself Christmas presents though if it goes bad. After Christmas, you won't have an excuse. Lol

I don't Ken. Mixing the microspheres in and lots of glass fiber though, you can create the same consistency and paint it on with a brush though. Never tried it before. Saved huge amounts of detail time glassing up the very rear panel.

Had to do the rear in 2 different parts, plus the original clam. Cut back off with specific reference points to put everything back together correctly. For the rear face, I used epoxy resin mixed with a lot of microspheres and short chopped fg and made consistency of paste. Just painted two...

    Adjustable sway bars

I also havn't seen this type of adjustment method. I chased down all the parts though and it appears the rotating half cone has a 180 degree adjustment range. Rotating the cone will put the leg of the cone either inside (stiffer I assume) to, or anywhere between, further out (softer). Leverage...

    QA1 and RamliftPro install

Invert your previously installed shock. So the body and lift cylinder are connected to chassis, not the suspension. I would assume the ram lift could be mounted in any orientation like any other hydraulic ram.

Thanks for checking that Ken. I was following that in the other thread. If it is just those two things, it might be easy enough to accomodate it. Sure would make for a nice clean install if so. I will look once i get back to that stuff and figure if it is worth it or not.

Ya, this one is staying. Lol. I am getting tired of this stuff. I want to get back onto mechanicals, the fun stuff and doesn't make my head hurt!

All that is, is when I painted it black, I just painted it crooked or different side to side. They are perfectly level and plane perfectly together. At least close enough for this stage.

Well, luckily for me, the temps have dropped the last 24 hours below freezing, so gotta wait for this little storm to pass before attempting any fg work. So, painted it black. These show a bit more of the details.

Thanks Rob. Finally, nothing left to do but a few touch ups and go for it! I am really happy with it. Very sinister in person.

There is no bondo, plaster, or sheetrock mud in this one. That is the main reason it has been going so quick, no dry time. It is all just sculpted foam. I am planning to use some .5mil plastic and spray adhesive, and cover the entire rear, then fg and resin right over that. Two coats. Then...

Couple more things to do, but dam close to done already. Something will be happening under the rear lights themselves, but havn't decided exactly what yet. Plate is recessed, so the lip above can house a recessed plate light. Plinth under wing center looks really cool in person. Thinking this...

I started looking at Daytona Prototypes, and it sparked this idea a bit. Very similar in over all body shape. Sounds like a dam good use for that foam! Haha.

The last rear, every time I would walk by it, I just thought of boat hulls. It looked like two dam boat hulls from the back. Lol. This one much better. Fits the lines much better. I was racking my head trying to figure out how to make the body work appear to extend all the way to diffuser, yet...
