For those of you who recall the fact that, from this thread, I decided to build a Gurney Weslake engine for my GTD....and the many issues that I had with Jay Cushman who did the initial (poor) build, I am pleased to say the engine is now back in my GTD thanks to Peter Knight at Knight Racing...

The engine puts out 545 BHP and 531 Ft Lb and is built on an aluminium block so it goes some too!

The engine finally got sorted out using Peter Knight of Knight Racing in Daventry. As you can see from the photos that Frank has posted, it looks great. I will post more photos once the installation back in the car is finished. There was no more contact from Jay Cushman and it cost me...

And I sold them to buy another set from Vintage Wheels but BRM style instead of Halibrand

Personally I would ship them in from Vintage Wheels (15"). I have three sets of them (not for sale, I use them for different tyre sets as I race) and they look totally authentic. I have never had any issues with them and the service from the company is first rate.

Unfortunately not - see other thread under problems with Jay Cushman to see the latest on the Gurney Weslake saga. The good news is that most of the reworking has been done now by Knight Racing - they are about to dry sump it. Cheers, Martin
