In Utah a frame is not specified but a working wiper is required.

I don't know about other states but Utah, unfortunately, requires a windscreen.

Heh! I have no scratch-built, or any other, design. I am too busy working evenings and weekends doing side jobs, to save up $$$, to actually have time to design anything. I am waiting to see how the Le Mans comes along as I want a topless car. Will it be ready for spring as previously mentioned?

Have you looked at a rear view camera instead? That way you can record everyone dwindling in the distance when you step on it ;)
