    1967 Gt40 MK-IV red colour code

I think your best bet is the Henry Ford Museum where J-6 is based they would know the colour or put you onto the restoration team that refurbished J-6. Or a search in the GT40 thread might unearth the colour code.

GT40s at Goodwood in recent years

Hi Steve when it first appear in a MKII guise I asked Goodwood why they had a Ford GT40 MKII listed in the program when it was P/1008. Never got a reasonable answer. I do not mind car being made to look like other famous ones. But tell the paying public. After all in 1966 the Le Mans winner...

FORAGING FOR RARE FORD GT HISTORY IN THE ARCHIVES

Steve I read the text and it states that the 1963 prototype was testing. This was Eric Broadley's Lola GT MKVI and sure it was involved in the Ford GT project testing Suspension among other things. But since the Ford GT Prototype GT/101 was not built until 1st April 1964 what does that statement...

FORAGING FOR RARE FORD GT HISTORY IN THE ARCHIVES

I am just an GT40 enthusiast. But I do know that the GT40 parts manual had pictures of the GT40 MKI not the MKIII road car. I have a copy brochure of the GT40 and that is the MKI on the front with no reference to the GT40 MKIII. I think there might have been a GT40 MKIII leaflet release at the...
