Jim I am referring to the photo at the top of a J car woith a J7 sidewinder. Not J-7 the G-7A car.

A great build . The only thing that gives it away is the GT40 steering wheel . Correct me if I am wrong but the MKII had a black cushioned centre on the steering wheel. Regards Allan

J-2 was the car that Ken Miles had his fatal accident it was going to be used in Can Am. It was being developed that's why the picture shows differences. Thanks Steve. Just a dumb question if the FORD went onto the road cars did any Race spec cars keep them on after conversion. Simply was there a road car GT40 that was race specc'd and kept the FORD lettering?

Don't you just drive under them? So how many of 31 MKI roadcars had the "FORD" on the bonnet? Or was that an option on ordering?
