My car has Lucas headlights as fitted to Ford Mk1 Escort Twin Cam. Not original 40 fitment but I have seen at least one original 40 with these fitted, either 1006 or 1008 I think but it was years ago and they may have been changed since.
Are you able to post the picture? I dont have it to hand but I was a member then. I wasnt able to get to the first meeting but might be able to remember a few faces.
