Chris, Thx much. I was able to increase the travel to 38mm at the shifter box and 35mm at the cable end by increasing the lengths of the fulcrum arms. I added about 3/8” to the length of the larger arm with a jam nut and 1/8” to the smaller arm with a couple of spring washers. Cheers, Randy

Thx for the information. My cable travel maxes out at 19mm. That is as measured at the shifter box so no loss from cable play. I don’t see any way I can adjust it to increase it. Others report they also have about 35mm of travel. Guessing that is the root cause of my problems.

Thx for sharing the pictures. How much travel does your rotation cable have? And how many degrees of rotation do you get at the shaft? I am to manually rotate the shaft about 30 degrees by hand (15 up and 15 down). Do I need that much movement to select gears?

I notched the webbing. I also made a new cable retainer mount to get more downward angle so I could connect the cable lower on the rotation lever. Unfortunately, that causes the cable to point upward into the header collectors.

I just finished coating the floor of a Jeep with Lizard Skin using the sprayer that came with the kit. The finished texture is not at all smooth. Not sure if a layer of DEI insulation would stick very well.
