I read somewhere that the cables themselves are often not well lubricated, so it might be of benefit to add some cable lube. In my case, the shifter box was also binding a bit.

Chris, Thx much. I called Bill at RCR. He confirmed RCR does not have brackets for the Quaife. Fortunately, the shifter box and cables should work with the Olthoff linkage kit so I ordered that. The Olthoff kit works with the existing box on the Quaife, so no need to remove anything. Cheers...

Thx much. I think I will use spacer blocks under the dash because my dash is a bit warped. I have some fiberglass work do. I thought the flange around the front of the dash defined the height so I cut about 1/2” off the legs :-(

I now understand that the front height is established by the fit under the spider and that the demister may need adjustment. How did you establish the height for the rear of the dash? Did you allow it to slope down?

Thank you. It appears the provided brackets are for ZF and don’t fit the Quaife. I will probably go with Olthoff Racing‘s solution. It is my understanding it is specifically designed for the Quaife.
