The new engine is now (temporarily) in place on the reconfigured engine mounts. I’m picking the ‘box up from Chris Cole on Monday morning so it will be installed in the car (again, temporarily) to enable the it to go off to have the exhaust fabricated.

As I’ve been unlucky with my search for lowered engine mounts, I’ve decided I’m going to have to “adapt” my current one piece engine mount into two separate mounts. (Not lowering them, just so I’ve got space for the sump on the new engine) I’m not handy with a welder so I’m going to have to get...

I contacted Mick for a SGT rear end but as he was winding up the business, he couldn’t help out. AK have told me they won’t be in production until the spring, I have no idea if they’re going to still be producing the rear ends on their own? But it probably won’t be for many months, if at all……
