I can contest this is an event to put on your calendar. Actually was one of the original Texas Cobra Club Members that started this back in 2000 with 17 Cobras and it has grown to 120+ Cobras, Daytona Coupes and GT40s. Ken and the Austin group have really developed it over the years.......

Don’t know if you guys are interested but the Quaker Steak & Lube that closed in Frisco (Parkwood & 121) just reopened as new sports bar/restaurant and has great parking. I think it is called Tight End or something like that. I’m also good with Brickhouse although been there a lot lately.

Good point Mike. The 427 side oilers were running so good in NASCAR back then with a single carb (probably with the NASCAR rules) they probably decided why change in road racing race cars especially with all the time to dial them in.

It appears that most of the 289 Mach I GT40s were weber carbs but were most of the Mach IIs with 427s Holley Carbs? Most of the videos and pics I have seen, seam to be 1 or dual carbs on the later GT40s....
