Yes voltage sensing is how the alternator knows how much current to feed the battery to charge it.Late model internally regulated alternators have a Bat sense wire which is a good idea as the battery voltage could be different to alt output voltage due to the old enemy (voltage drop). Ross

Yes that's what the ripping software does, after selecting you tube for the output it seems to hold the resolution to satisfy you tube and allow the best quality video after compression. Ross
