    Ripped off in OZ

Does the Arai helmet have the Aus standard 1698 sticker on it Doug? I only ask because without it Cams won't allow it's use for racing. Ross

A win is still a win in my book Malc doesn't matter how you get them. It's very lonely when you have no one to race against isn't it. Well done, I can be positive for you cause your not in a blasted P...... car. Ross

    TK Tornado re-build

Very nice Tim, hope it wont become a trailer queen. You really can see some dollar bills reflected in those shiny pipes. I still like the paint job. Regards Ross:thumbsup:

Ross' first and current race cars

Yes thats me with hands on hips, you clever chaps. Boy the girls were chasing me in those days and I was after them too. #29 doesn't seem to be around anymore, it did run at Teretonga quite a bit and was affectionately called "The Bug" It was not a front running car in fact it was usually placed...

    newby from the Antipodies

Sorry Kaspa should have explained. I started the P thing, comes from my deep seated hate of the drivers and their fat cheque books. I'll leave Jac Mac to sort you out on the which Island thing, you cheeky monkey. Ross:laugh:

    Programmable EFI Questions?

Time to plug in the laptop then Pete.Just make sure you have the data backed up securely and then play, it's the best way just like the young kids do and we don't. Ross:uneasy:

    Programmable EFI Questions?

Brian yes I have the central plenum but have not used it, so can't help on the vacuum side of things. Pete Probably a good Idea to gain a general understanding of how EFI works via internet, books etc and then the Autronic system will make sense and you will be able to converse with other...

    Programmable EFI Questions?

Brian does the Accel system allow for the TPS (throttle position sensor) to be used as the sole input for load? I have the DC&O setup with Motec M48 and I use the TPS this way, then just vent the Map sensor to barometric pressure.Works fine. Ross

    Kiwi 40

Good Idea and I may have a go at it myself but seriously these cars are not an easy project even when you start with a ready made chassis. A lot of keen builders will no doubt stumble and fall by the wayside. Abandoned projects may be plentiful, me thinks. Russ if you make a lot of money out of...

    935 onboard cam - Nordschleife

Fast car pity it's a P........, anyway that annoying light (yes the one the drivers ignoring) is probably an oil pressure warning that comes on with a relatively high pressure. Seems to have quite a few revs on before it goes out. In comparison to the sound inside a GT40 it sounds subdued and...

    Adjusting 930 LSD power/overrun split.

Well Russ You know I can't go along with you on the cost of the good old P****** parts. The wider you open your cheque book and the more zeros added, the faster you go you know. My bet is you'll either be spinning up your inside wheel or pushed into understeer as Ross and his ZF go sailing by at...

You can't comment here because you don't own an xyz car.' Are the sort of things I hate.Had the latter this morning but I think it was tongue in cheek. The Paddock is great (long live...
