    Superperformance GT40 at SEMA

Fran, Agree the LS6 is from the Z06. The new generation from the C6 (currently available) is actually called LS2, and displacement is 6.0.

    Superperformance GT40 at SEMA

Mike, What do you call the engine in the Z06? As far as I know there are different variations of the LS6 block, including both the SB as well as the BB.

Das Retromotor Festival - new video

Nice video, and I have to agree about the spectators not being all that smart! Standing on the outside of a curve.... But what is happening aorund 1:19?? It looks like the windshield is cracking very slowly from left to right? Or is it just me "seeing things" again.. Lukas

Audi 016 transaxle supplier in UK

There was a place in Germany a while ago that had a bunch of new ones sitting around. If I remember correct they were quite cheap, around 400 Euros or so. You might want to do a search in the For Sale section, I remember that Mark Worthington posted a link there. Shipping shouldnt be too bad...

    MDA Weigh in at ....??

Mark, JP has the answer most of the questions, but I do know that he is using a normal 302 block (however not an R). Weight saving features might be the 16" magnesium wheels and using the Renault box (with Quaife internals) instead of a heavier ZF or G50.

    Opinion on possible engine purchase

Holy smokes now thats a good price right there! If Keith Craft really put together the short block then you should be all set. Never ever heard anything bad about them (unlike Coasthigh/Probe,.....). Is it really 2500 for the shortblock including heads etc? Go for it immediately or it will be...

    kit purchase questions

If you want to make it easier on yourself, also check out other Manufacturers who have dealers in the US. I would recommend talking to Hershal Byrd, he is the US distributor for Roaring Forties. He can tell you about the car, and I am sure he will give you some insights on importing the kits...

    looking for Mr.Sheldon

Tim, I do not think that this number would work. You have to dial 011 for EUrope then 44.... (which is the UK country code). YOu might want to try this number Javier.

    What gauges are you using?

Bill, I am pretty sure they use the Autometer Cobras aka Smith look-alikes thats lots of people use in their Cobras as well. Since you are getting the RF, you really should get the special Smiths that Robert can supply. I believe they have a 300 km/h speedo!

    Jim`s get-together in Connecticut

Let me be the first to publicly thank Jim for hosting a great meeting at his shop in Danbury. We had about twenty people there and the cars..... wow, I am still overwhelmed! Jim had his J6, which probably looks the best it ever did, and also the P4 there, which is at the (I am guessing...

    302W Information Needed - Desperate !

Looks like you AUS guys are pretty much in the same boat as we are here in Austria.... I cant wait to get in trouble when I try to register my Cobra. I hope to bypass some off the formalities with the Florida paperwork that I have for my car, saying it is a 1965 Ford roadster. Would an old US...
